Cruise 2002

In May of 2002, we went on our first cruise, aboard the Sovereign of the seas, which is a cruise ship

in the royal Caribbean cruise line. Now we are hooked. we are going on our 2nd cruise this

September, this time for a week. below are some pictures from our cruise. these pictures are

beautiful, but nothing compared to the real thing. Enjoy...

This is us on Coco Cay, a private island owned by the cruise line. We went snorkeling for the first time and had a blast.

A 6 foot skate swam right by me.

This is a giant lizard, probably about 5', that let us take a few pictures of it. Chris probably got within 3 feet of it.

This is the Atlantis Paradise Hotel, located on Paradise Island, just above Nassau. The "bridge" connecting the two

buildings is actually a hotel room, called the "Michael Jackson" suite. It costs $25,000 a night, and you have to reserve it a minimum of 7 nights.

This is us on the formal night. I had gotten my hair braided in Nassau, and then my scalp got burnt. When I took the braids out

my scalp peeled. It wasn't a pretty sight.

There are some pictures of the ship. It really was beautiful.

These are little animals the steward for our room made out of towels. They were the cutest things.
